Those of you who maybe new to the local parkour scene, should really take the time to check out OPK. A state dedicated site, which consists almost entirely of the forums. It has many tracuers far more experienced than I and is a great communication point.

Inspiring Parkour videos
So I've been watching quite a few videos lately. Some of them I have stumbled across and some were sent to me by fellow Traceurs. If you have a chance I highly suggest checking them out. There is allot of information and allot of inspiration to be gleaned from these videos.
Since there will be a few I videos I'm going to link them instead of embedding them.
A really cool four part documentary on Parkour by Traceurs. Thanks Jeremy for the link.
Royal Marines
A two part show on The Royal Marines practicing with some of the urban free flow guys, then the Urban Free flow guys participating in training with the Royal Marines.
Hope to hear your guys views on the videos.
- Tim.

Basic Ability
Parkour, as I have found it to be, requires some base level of fitness. Only so much can be accomplished as you are today. The reality of being a Tracuer(sp?) is to always be a beginner, yet have the steady confidence of the veterans body... So we will endlessly condition our bodies to be ready and able-
From my point of view, you should be able to do some basic exercises well; and with being too fatigued from the process. So here some are:
Run a 9 minute mile and be able to talk with ease at the end.
10 Pull-Ups with at least one left in the tank.
30 Body Squats, with juice left to sprint.
25 Push-Ups with out struggling.
The main theme here is that all of this should be within your normal range.
The only thing I'm struggling with is the pull-ups... I could do a lot better with the running. Many of you can do way more than 25 push-ups, yet body-squats will challenge some.
As much as getting together for Jams will be the fun, and training together will inspire- doing this type of boring horse-training on our own will allow, and facilitate, the group to excel.

We are; B. Hardt & T. Burns.
Run and be sharp minded
